Greetings all! Like I said in the about page, I started this a way to study film outside normal "literary" way. I believe that film has it's own visual language, with it's own grammar, history, slang and dialects. Once I heard of this idea of memorizing shots, I was hooked and started making a little local site on my desktop to track progress.
I shared it with some friends and they wanted to follow along as well so I made a wix site but HATED how it felt. Once I descovered Neocity here, I LOVED the old school internet feel and jumped right into converting the site over. It's been a bit of a process but I'm excited to dive back in.
a little note about what this blog actually is going to be used for. Each movie has it's scenes broken up into pages. I want those pages to stay very matter of fact. This way I can flip through them and not wade through ramblings while looking for the actual facts. But I have noticed some things that got my noodle going and I want a place to spew that stuff out so that is what this blog is for. I'll link to releveant scene pages and so on to help tie this blog with the shots or scenes that triggered them
